Chatham-Kent Police are making headway as they investigate a bank robbery in Dresden.

On Tuesday afternoon, a man walked into the CIBC branch, demanded money from the teller, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities now say they’ve identified the suspect and are trying to locate him.

Meantime, a pair of Tragically Hip framed records stolen from Food Basics in Chatham earlier this week have been recovered.

Chatham-Kent Police say the items were being auctioned off to support the Children’s Miracle Network.

The suspect in the case has been identified, and the two records have now been returned to Food Basics.
