The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority’s 2019 budget sees an increase of .082%.
The board set its budget in stone at the Annual General Meeting held at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus earlier this week.
The 2019 budget totals a hair over $3.2-million.
About half of that cost is spread over the 10 member municipalities, with Chatham-Kent’s portion coming to about $1-million.
In 2018 65 flood bulletins were issued and 92,189 trees were planted. Over 6,000 thousand students engaged in the LTVCA’s education programs, nearly 15,000 people enjoyed camping at four conservation authority campgrounds.
