Sad news for music fans.
Big Wreck guitarist and Sarnia-native Brian Doherty revealed this week that he has terminal cancer.
The band announced on their Facebook page that he’s been fighting the disease for the last nine months.
A fan started ago fund me to help take the pressure off of Doherty’s family.
Doherty also struggled with addiction and was looking to start a therapeutic music and guidance support group program to assist those battling substance abuse.
