Chatham-Kent residents were feeling hungry and generous this week.
McDonald’s customers in Chatham and Wallaceburg raised a whopping $32,552 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities in Southwestern Ontario.
Last year’s fundraiser brought in just over $28,000.
The fast food chain donated a dollar from every Big Mac, Happy Meal, and McCafe beverage sold on Wednesday.
Proceeds help the Ronald McDonald Houses in Windsor and London, and the RM Family Room in London.
