It’s a busy weekend in the area with events on Walpole Island and Dresden. 
The 25th annual Walpole Island Pow Wow is on today and tomorrow at the Walpole Island Sports Complex. Grand entry starts at 1pm this afternoon and again at 7pm.
Dresden’s annual Demolition Derby gets underway tomorrow at the Dresden Raceway.
And fireworks will be lighting up the sky this weekend as local residents celebrate Victoria Day.
