After announcing nearly a million dollars in funding for mental health and addictions programs in London, Conservative MPP Monte McNaughton says funds are coming to Chatham-Kent and Lambton as well.
“As part of this announcement of $174-million across the province, $553,000 is for Lambton and Kent Counties, which will really help those suffering with mental health issues,” the Lambton-Kent-Middlesex rep says. “This money will be used for supportive housing, psychosis intervention, peer support services and other front-line services that people need.”
McNaughton didn’t comment on which specific local programs would benefit from the funding.
