CANADA DAY IN CHATHAM-KENT

Tilbury, June 28 – Festivities begin at 7 at Memorial Park with free face painting, live entertainment, and Canada Day cupcakes courtesy of Tilbury Foodland. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Ridgetown, June 28-29 – 3rd annual East Kent Celebrates Canada Day parade at 6:30pm followed by fireworks at the Ridgetown Fairgrounds. Saturday, “Art Off Main” features a market and vendors in downtown Ridgetown.

Chatham, June 29-July 1 – Festival of Nations/Canada Day, Tecumseh Park. Saturday: parade at 11am, cultural food/vendors, entertainment, and kids’ zone in the park; citizenship ceremony at the Capitol Theatre at 1pm; fireworks at St Clair College at dusk. Sunday, 9am-11pm: food/vendors, entertainment, kids’ zone in Tecumseh Park, Loverboy at dusk. Monday: 9am-2pm, community pancake breakfast; entertainment and kids crafts; closing ceremonies.

Rondeau Provincial Park, July 1 – Celebrate Canada Day with Canadian trivia at the visitors centre, 1-3pm.

Blenheim, July 1 – Glad Tidings Community Church, 6-9pm. Food, inflatables, music, and fireworks at dusk.
