
The LTVCA is extending their standing message regarding the Lake Erie and St. Clair Shorelines.
Originally issued on July 2nd the Lower Thames Valley Conservation is extending their warning.
Lake Erie peaked on June 22nd and has fallen by about 10cm since then.
Lake St. Clair peaked July 67h and has dropped by about 8cm.
Both were record setting.
While officials expect that water levels will continue to fall through this month, they’re still expected to be near or at record highs.
Wind, erosion and storms are still a concern so the conservation authority is extending the flood outlook to the end of this month.
