Today is the annual St. Clair River Float Down, so if you had boating plans in the river today this might change your itinerary.

Thousands will jump on rafts and any flotation device they find and head down the river from Port Huron, Michigan.

Transport Canada has placed vessel restrictions from the bridge South to the Northern tip of Stag Island from noon to 8.

The float down begins at 1 o’clock.

This will keep emergency workers busy on both sides of the border.
