A motorcycle ride around Chatham-Kent has brought in close to $5000 to support Special Olympics Ontario.
The 2019 Torch Ride drew a crowd of 65 bikes and 75 participants from across Ontario and Michigan.
Saturday’s event featured a cruise stretching from Rondeau Park to Mitchell’s Bay, barbecue, and a show and shine at St Clair College.
Local organizers say it’s the most successful fundraiser they’ve held so far, and they’re hoping to make the event even bigger next year.
