The Chatham-Kent real estate market cooled somewhat in August, but prices continue to heat up.
According to the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, sales were down almost 6% last month, compared to August of 2018.
A hair less than 130 homes were sold, which is still above the long term average. 900 houses have been sold this year to date.
The average price of homes skyrocketed to $255,682 up 14.1% from August 2018.
