Phase one of Chatham-Kent’s first rail trail will get its official unveiling to the public this morning.

The CASO trail project runs along an old rail line, beginning in Ridgetown and will eventually stretch from Elgin County to Communication Rd., some 30km in length.

The ribbon cutting goes this morning at 10am at the Ridgetown water treatment plant on Mitton Line.

Originally approved in 2017, the half million dollar project has been funded by Entegrus.
