Impaired driving charges have been laid against a Chatham Township man. 
Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash on St Clair Street in Chatham just before 7 last night.
Authorities suspected the driver had been drinking.
The 74-year-old was taken to police headquarters for tests and released with a date in court next month.
