The 17th annual Parade of Chefs is being hailed a huge success.
The annual fundraiser included a six-course meal featuring local produce.
Host and Food Network star John Catucci was blown away by what Chatham-Kent has to offer.
“It’s great, I had actually no idea the produce, how this is pretty much the produce capital of Canada,” Catucci says. “To see all the chefs using all the local produce and how they were using that in tonight’s menu and dishes, that was really cool.”
No word yet on exactly how much the sold-out event raised – all proceeds support the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation.
