The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority continues to wrestle with its budget.
Conservation Authorities across the province have been wrangling with provincial funding cuts and mandate changes.
With that in mind, the LTVCA board will consider three potential budgets on Thursday.
The first is a 0% levy increase, which would lead to a deficit of about $10,000; The second is a 1% increase which would balance the books but wouldn’t cover cost of living increases for staff; the third is a 2% increase, which would provide a 1% cost of living wage increase.
The total Conservation Authority budget is just north of $3-million annually.
