Wallaceburg Properties Up For Grabs

The former Dura-Chrome plant in Wallaceburg is up for tax sale.

The Municipal Act allows the Municipality to register a Tax Arrears Certificate on any property if taxes remain unpaid for two years prior to January 1st.

That’s just one of a pair of interesting Glasstown properties open for tender at the Nov 20th Chatham-Kent tax sale.

The minimum tender is $300,000, but if that’s too rich for your blood, maybe 343 James St. could be a better buy.

Minimum price on that is just over $10K.

Tenders have to be presented to the municipality before 3pm on November 20th.
