Charges have been laid after a disturbance at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance overnight.
Police were called to the Chatham site around 3 o’clock this morning – authorities say a man was asked to leave the hospital, but when he refused, a struggle ensued and the suspect allegedly kicked one of the officers as they tried to get him outside.
The 31-year-old is now charged with causing a disturbance, resisting arrest, assaulting police, and breaching his bail conditions by consuming drugs.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
