Online threats made towards local police was no joking matter for the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
Yesterday afternoon, authorities were made aware of online posts and tracked down the suspect as his home in Chatham.
Police say the accused refused to surrender, but was taken into custody after several hours of negotiations.
The 43-year-old now faces charges of mischief and uttering threats.
