New Program Looks to Train New PSWs

The Erie St. Clair LHIN is working towards addressing a chronic health care shortage in southwestern Ontario.

The government agency is teaming with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to offer a training program in which students would actually get paid to attend a four week course to become a Home Support Worker.

There’s also a five month course to become a full-fledged Personal Support Worker on offer.

Details can be found at one of the sponsoring organizations, including VON Canada, Riverview Gardens and more.
