A location app on a stolen iPhone has landed two Chatham residents with charges.

The culprits allegedly broke into a home on Coverdale Street on Wednesday, getting away with various electronics.

Police were able to track the phone to a Park Avenue home, but not before it had been used to transfer money from the victim’s bank account – authorities say the suspects then sold the phone along with a stolen iPad.

A 35-year-old man and 37-year-old woman are both facing charges and will have to face them in court next month.
