A reminder from Chatham-Kent Police to take it slow in snowy conditions.
While roads around the municipality are in far better shape today than they were this time yesterday, there’s still a fair bit of drifting and blowing snow in outlying areas and rural roads.
Luckily, authorities say with numerous collisions and cars slipping off the road, no serious injuries were reported.
Police say when it comes to crashes and spin-outs, it’s poor driving behaviour that’s usually to blame, not poor conditions.
