A part-time factory worker from Chatham hit the jackpot for $100,000 with Lotto 6/49’s Encore.
Geraldine Graham, a 58-year old mother of one, matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the February 1st draw.
“My eyes almost popped right out of my head,” Graham says. “I ran to the car and told my son to pinch me. I thought my husband was going to drop on the floor when I told him!”
Graham plans to invest her wining, purchase a new chest-freezer, and put some extra cash towards a trip to New York City the family has planned for the fall.
The winning ticket was purchased at Charlie’s Variety Store on Park Avenue East in Chatham.
