One of the final pieces of the puzzle has fallen into place for the owners of Red Barn Brewing.

Denny Vervaet says they’ve received the license to sell beer, paving the way to open the agri-tourism brewery this summer.

“We’re still aiming we’re going to be open for summer, that’s our goal, but our big thing now is we want to start brewing,” Vervaet says. “We just got our manufacturer’s license today so we’re ready to go and in the next month we’ll be into some local licensees.”

The team is putting the finishing touches on the brewery itself, which will showcase how ingredients like barley and hops are grown to how the beer itself is made.
