Chatham-Kent Police are on the hunt for a suspect, accused of trying to hold up a Chatham convenience store.
Just after 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, police say a man carrying a weapon and wearing a camouflage scarf over his face walked into the Piggy Mart on McNaughton Ave East and demanded cash.
The cashier activated an alarm and the suspect took off empty handed, heading south on Taylor Avenue.
Officers flooded the area, but came up empty handed.
