Wallaceburg’s Shona Branton is jumping into the deep end.
The WDSS swimmer has signed her intent to attend Western University and join the Mustangs swim team.
Branton hit the pool at the age of five with the Wallaceburg Marlins, later transferring to the Sarnia Rapids.
Branton has also been a leading swimmer for the WDSS swim team and holds several meet records while being nationally ranked in the breast stroke.
Western coach Paul Midgley says he expects to see Branton draped with the school flag on the podium many times during her time as a Mustang.
