A pair of Chatham men are pitching in to help protect our front line heroes.
Chris Lapp’s mother works in a Chatham Doctors office.
Lapp wanted to do something to help the front line workers and came up with the idea of using his 3-D printer to make face shields.
He learned another Chatham man had a similar idea so he joined forces with Lucas Labrecque and the men have now made over 1,000 masks.
He says it takes about 8 hours to make 10, so it’s a slow process but they stay at it.
They have delivered the masks around Chatham-Kent and the province.
They are even getting calls from Montreal.
Lapp says any money they receive goes right back into purchasing material to make more.
