Premier Doug Ford announced a new action plan Thursday to assist the most vulnerable in Ontario.

It might sound familiar. 

The Premier has come out with this plan already in place for retirement homes and long term care facilities.

This time however he is putting it in place for residences that includes homes serving those with developmental disabilities, shelters for victims of gender based violence and human trafficking.

Also facilities supporting vulnerable Indigenous.

The plan will focus on 3 specific areas. Enhanced screening and reduced exposure to prevent spread.

Infection control and sustaining staffing and managing staff shortages.

The means the redeployment of staff when necessary and hiring of additional staff.
