The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for the region.
The combination of heavy rain and gusting winds over the next couple of days is expected to elevate water levels in floodplains, parks and farms.
It has the potential to cause a backwater event in Wallaceburg.
Riverbanks will be slippery.
This watch in effect until Thursday.
