A family dispute turned violent in Chatham Friday night.
CK police were called to a residence on St. Clair Street and found a man under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
Witnesses told officers he had assaulted two people and threatened them with a knife.
The man was arrested and charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and weapons dangerous.
He was eventually released with a future court date.
