Police Investigating Two Suspicious Wallaceburg Fires

Local police are investigating two suspicious fires that occurred in Wallaceburg this morning.

This morning, just before 8:00 a.m. emergency crews responded to the report of a port-a-john on fire near Steinhoff Park on Mary Street in Wallaceburg.  Total damage was estimated at $1000.

A few minutes later, emergency crews were called to another fire on Thomas Avenue near an apartment building involving discarded furniture next to a garbage dumpster.  The fire was quickly extinguished, however a vehicle next to the dumpster sustained heat damage.  Total damage was estimated at $3000.
