The Province announced new pricing of electricity over the weekend.

They are billing it as the COVID -19 Recovery Rate.

Ontario residents will pay a fixed rate of 12.8 cents per kwh, and that will apply 24 hours a day.

This runs from June 1st to October 31st.

The rate was set based on the average cost of electricity set by the Ontario Energy Board.

Premier Doug Ford will fill in more details during Monday’s news briefing.
