Pure Dance Academy Releases “Pure Positivity Project” Video

An inspiring video from a local dance studio is starting to go viral.
The Pure Dance Academy has put together an inspirational PSA dance video in hopes of inspiring their community.
Jaiden Lyons, a competitive coach and dance instructor at Pure Dance Academy says the “Pure Positivity Project” hopes to inspire community members through some troubled times.
“We created this project in hopes to spread some light and positivity during these crazy times,” says Lyons. “Given the circumstances with our world, with the pandemic and other social movements that are happening, our dancers and staff wanted to promote a message of hope and togetherness”
The video was recorded and produced through Pure Dance Academy’s remote and online learning alternative classes.
Jaiden says the coaches and instructors are missing seeing their dancers, but are very happy with the involvement of so many in the online courses, as showcased in the new video.
“By being able to shed some light and love to our community right now was super fulfilling for the kids and for our dancers. We hope it will bring some happiness to anyone who watches it,” she said.
Pure Dance Academy has three locations – in Wallaceburg, Chatham and Lakeshore.
Pure is hopeful they will be able to offer in studio summer classes, but continue to offer online alternatives until that time.
“We appreciate the community support for this video, as we try to do our part to support our community as well,” adds Lyons.
