SCCDSB Director of Education, Deb Crawford

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board reached out to parents on Thursday to update families on the boards September Ready project to get students back in the classrooms for the coming school year.

Director of Education Deb Crawford told parents their team is working with representatives of the different areas to hear what they have to say.

That includes principals, staff and trustees  along with public health officials in Lambton, and Chatham-Kent.

Crawford said they are looking at 4 areas, Elementary and Secondary school operations, logistics including sourcing and distributing personal protective equipment, school programming and planning which includes scans and assessment, and finance and administration.

Safe transportation is also a key element. She says the safe return to school model will be finalized in mid August.
