Another small jump in positive COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent.
According to the Public Health, four new cases of the virus have been confirmed as of 2:30pm Thursday afternoon, and one case has now recovered.
That brings the number of active cases of the virus in municipality to eight.
According to officials with Public Health, all of the patients are self-isolating. Exposure details for the four new cases are still listed as pending as staff investigate contact tracing.
Two cases are currently listed as ‘unknown’ two are listed as ‘close contact of a case’ and the newest cases are listed as ‘pending.’
That brings the municipality’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 166, 157 of those have since recovered and one passed away.
