A 28-year-old man has drowned in Lake Erie near Wheatley.
Chatham-Kent OPP and EMS responded to the report of a possible drowning near Wheatley Provincial Park just after 4PM on Sunday afternoon.
Police say the victim appeared to be under water for approximately ten minutes. He was brought out of the water and CPR was conducted.
The male was transported to hospital by EMS but was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
