The CK Gay Pride Association is kicking off Pride Week celebrations today.
A flag raising ceremony is being held at the Civic Centre in Chatham at noon, with proper physical distancing protocols in place.
A Pride Week bonfire will be held at a property on Base Road in Harwich on Friday, followed by a virtual church service on Sunday that will also be shared on Facebook Live.
The original plans for pride week, including a parade and Pride in the Park Festival in downtown Chatham, were cancelled in late May because of COVID-19.
