2 Cases Of COVID-19 In Chatham-Kent On Tuesday

The number of new cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent dropped to just two on Tuesday.
Another seven local cases are listed as recovered, with 245 total recoveries.
83 local cases are currently considered to be “active”
Four Chatham-Kent residents are hospitalized with the coronavirus.
On Monday, eleven new cases were reported over the weekend following 69 new cases last week.
One Chatham-Kent case of COVID-19 has been connected to the Salvation Army church office. That case is believed to be close contact related and not a workplace transmission. The office has since closed for precautionary measures.
Ontario’s numbers decreased significantly on Tuesday, with only 33 new cases province-wide. To the southwest, Windsor-Essex is reporting 14 of those new cases today.
