Movie buffs in Chatham-Kent can once again take in a film at the local theatre.
After months of being closed because of COVID-19, Galaxy Cinemas in Chatham has reopened with extra safety precautions in place.
Seating is limited to allow for proper physical distancing, up to a maximum of 50 people in each auditorium.
Cineplex officials say reserved-seating tickets can be purchased through self-serve kiosks or online, using debit, credit or gift cards.
Cleaning procedures are also in place using industrial grade cleaning products and touchpoints wiped down at least every half hour.
Right now there are just three movies being shown at the Chatham theatre: the new SpongeBob movie, Unhinged starring Russell Crowe, and the 10th anniversary edition of Inception.
