Ridgetown Stormwater Master Plan Released

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has initiated the Ridgetown Stormwater Master Plan to develop a road map for infrastructure improvements to address the aging storm sewer infrastructure as well as flooding concerns and storm sewer capacity issues within the Community of Ridgetown.
A key component of the Master Plan will be consultation with interested stakeholders (public, landowners, and agencies). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all public consultation will be achieved through online content including videos, questionnaires, and virtual meetings as required.
An initial online consultation period, normally addressed by the Municipality as a Community Café, will be provided to introduce the project, describe the Master Plan process, and obtain feedback from residents.
An informative video describing the project has been prepared and is available at the link below.
An online survey is also available so that you can provide feedback regarding flooding concerns and/or other issues associated with the storm sewer system. Links to both the video and survey can be found below. Please complete the survey and/or provide comments by October 1, 2020 so that your input can inform the next phase of the Master Plan.
