Some tense moments on the St Clair River after a boat caught fire.

Lambton County OPP, St. Clair Fire Department, Lambton County Emergency Medical Service, Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, and Canadian Border Service Agency all responded to the scene along the St Clair Parkway.

Provincial Police say a vessel from the US caught on fire yesterday afternoon before drifting into Canadian waters and hitting a dock, another boat, and a Sea-Doo.

Three people were on the boat at the time, but there were no injuries.

The US Coast Guard returned the occupants to the American side of the river.

The Ministry of Environment was called in to check for any fuel spills and cleaning up the wreckage.
