There’s been another spike in new cases of COVID-19 across Ontario.
The province didn’t release any stats on Labour Day, but this morning Health Minister Christine Elliot announced 185 cases today, on top of another 190 from yesterday.
The bulk still appear to be focused around the GTA and Ottawa areas – 48 in the city of Toronto, 42 in Peel Region, and another 37 in Ottawa.
Province-wide, officials say 28 health units have reported five or fewer case, with 18 reporting no new cases at all.
As of Friday afternoon, Chatham-Kent’s active caseload stood at five. Numbers from the long weekend will be released this afternoon.
