A brief police chase through Wallaceburg has landed a local man with charges.
Police tried to stop a vehicle on Murray Street last night, but the driver took off.
The suspect eventually pulled into a driveway on Victoria Street, but then fled on foot.
A taser brought the man down and he was taken into custody.
The 27-year-old is now charged with flight from police, resisting arrest, and some driving offenses.
