A huge night of fundraising for the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
The organization held a virtual event last night in place of its annual gala, scrapped because of the pandemic.
The online telethon included taped and live segments of entertainment, stories from Hospice families, and some behind-the-scenes looks at the work being done at the end-of-life care facility.
Through online, phone, and text donations, Hearts Together for Hospice brought in a total of $126,393 by the end of the broadcast.
However, within two hours, that number had jumped to $128,000 with more money still coming in.
