A dark and stormy morning in Wallaceburg.
Power was knocked out to much of town following a hydro pole fire near Murray and Earl Street shortly after 6 o’clock Wednesday morning.
“Power has been restored to all Entegrus customs in Wallaceburg except approximately 22 customers on Earl St,” the utility posted in a Tweet just before 7:30. “These customers will remain out while crews replace the burnt pole, this is expected to take the majority of the day, thank you for your patience.”
At the height of the outage 748 customers without power.
