Rifles, Truck Stolen in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a pair of thefts in Wallaceburg.

Police say sometime between 9 o’clock Monday night and 8am on Tuesday, someone stole a 2002 brown Sierra GMC pick-up truck from a Nelson Street residence in Wallaceburg.

Then Tuesday night, officers were called to a break in at a residence in Running Creek Road.

A wooden .22 caliber bolt action rifle and a wooden .22 semi-automatic rifle were taken. Both had trigger locks.
