1417 New COVID Cases Province-Wide, 32 More Deaths

32 more Ontarians have died because of COVID-19.

The grim statistic was released by the Ministry of Health this morning, along with 1417 new infections.

Of those 32 deaths, 26 were long term care residents.

Province-wide 535 patients are being treated in hospital for the virus, 127 of whom are in ICU.

As of the latest update from Public Health, there are 32 active cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent, with three workplace outbreaks, including KFC and Taco Bell in Chatham. Both restaurants have voluntarily closed as the investigation into the cases continues.
