Any thoughts of a junior hockey season starting in early January are gone with the lock out.
The municipality has announced all arenas will be closed for the duration of the lockout effective December 26th.
Staff will be issuing reimbursements for all unused ice permits, but don’t expect it to arrive before the new year.
The closures will also effect pools, galleries, theatres, and museums.
