A local women’s group is helping to support other women in the community.
The Chatham-Kent Zonta Club has donated 70 purses filled with brushes, hand cream, Kleenex, and other daily supplies, to give to survivors of domestic violence.
The gifts were recently passed on to representatives of the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre.
The hope is that just by knowing that other women in the community are thinking of them will support these women on their journey to health and happiness.
