At Tuesday’s Chatham-Kent Police Services Board meeting Const. Jason Herder was presented with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Award of Honour.
The award presented by Chief Gary Conn goes to Law Enforcement personnel who achieve a minimum of 5 years involvement as a fundraiser or an organizer who have made an exemplary commitment.
Over the last few years Herder has raised $67,000 dollars through various events.
