Chatham-Kent Police have announced several large pot busts in the region in the last couple of weeks.
Two of the busts took place January 8th, one on Richmond street in Chatham and the second on Grand Avenue East that was discovered when a fire broke out.
The other was on Richmond Street that was raided on January 15th.
Going back to last September they busted a grow op at a greenhouse on Maynard Line.
Combined they confiscated over 25 million dollars worth of marijuana and made 9 arrests.
None of the people arrested were from Chatham-Kent, but instead from the GTA.
Police services points out they are not targeting legal grow ops or people growing for their own personal use.
They are looking for the illegal operations that are unregulated and use unsafe electrical outlets and illegal pesticides.
